The best first impression. Like all
of our print, we produce boxes using SDS (stochastic dot screening) to
give superb clarity and superior colour reproduction.
Any size of box possible. We keep
cutting formes for the most popular box shapes and sizes but we can also
manufacture formes in-house, so if you have an exact size requirement for
your printed boxes, please get in touch.
Special effects printing. We are one of
only a handful of UK printers to be licensed to use the Metal FX printing
process for inexpensive metallic colours. Used on product packaging, Metal
FX has a huge impact on consumers. We can also apply spot UV varnish
effects and unlike most print firms we do this in-house, so the cost is lower
and we have far greater quality controls.
Liners. Bigger
boxes (B4 and above) benefit from being fitted with a fluted liner, which
is essentially a sheet of corrugated card
cut to fit exactly inside the box.
Where boxes are used to package bottles
of wine, for example, we would always recommend the small additional cost
of a fluted liner to protect the contents of the box.
Pricing illustrations
Please
remember that our prices are fully inclusive of
professional design, as many edits as needed, proofs and printing.
The only charges to add are for delivery and VAT,
where applicable. We never add 'hidden extras' and we stand by that
principle 100%.
Full colour boxes, 91mm high by 60mm

1,250 = £243.21 [0.80]
2,500 = £394.72 [1.60]
5,000 = £550.63 [3.30]
Standard size boxes
All of the box dimensions given below are height/width/depth (HWD) in millimetres.
Simply
tell us the dimensions of your finished box and let us do the rest. We will
provide a sizing diagram, similar to
the one shown here, and help with the layout of your artwork. There is a
one-off additional charge to produce the cutting forme which will be used
to cut the box shapes, but since we store your forme for posterity, future
orders for boxes of the same size will not attract the additional forme charge.
To qualify for B1 pricing, your layout must
fit inside a rectangle of 175 x 160mm. The cutting forme will cost £60.00 + VAT.
For B2 pricing, the rectangle is 297 x 210mm and the forme cost is £60.00.
For B3 pricing, the rectangle is 310 x 240mm and the forme cost is £80.00.
For B4/B5 pricing, the rectangle is 400 x 360mm and the forme cost
is £90.00.
For B6 pricing, the rectangle is 512 x 370mm and the forme cost is £100.00.
For B7 pricing, the rectangle is 680 x 330mm and the forme cost is £110.00.
For B7 pricing, the rectangle is 680 x 480mm and the forme cost is £110.00.
